60s TV Horror: Dark Shadows

In the era of Hammer Films, the ABC gothic soap opera "Dark Shadows" was a hit from 1966-1971!

(Wikipedia) It was unprecedented in daytime television when ghosts were introduced about six months after it began. The series became hugely popular when vampire Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) appeared a year into its run. Dark Shadows also featured werewolves, zombies, man-made monsters, witches, warlocks, time travel, and a parallel universe.

New generations are rediscovering the nostalgic, moody, campy and brooding series.

A classic line - Barnabas Collins: For most men, time moves slowly, oh so slowly, they don't even realize it. But time has revealed itself to me in a very special way. Time is a rushing, howling wind that rages past me, withering me in a single, relentless blast, and then continues on. I've been sitting here passively, submissive to its rage, watching its work. Listen! Time, howling, withering!

    1. Hey Jivan; hope all is going well. It seems no one leaves the old neighborhood. Alex owns a home there too.

    2. yeah, seems strange being back here AGAIN. Have had some weird occurrences happen over the past couple years.... to strange to be coincidence, and got rated as being "psychic" by a licensed therapist.... uhm.... maybe shouldn't post that, but my email is 21coatsofpaint@gmail.com (inspired by Ed Roth) if you ever want to hear about them. Take care!
