Comments

  1. I'm in. I can't wait for Paranormal Challenge. I'm in the mood for Zak to stir up some new stooges for his adventures.

    ReplyDelete
  2. I really hope he'll be teaching them how to use his trademark ADHD method of ghosthunting. Is it on after Ghost Adventures?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Yup, it's a night of GA and the episode of the new show is sandwiched in between at 8, I believe. It's gonna totally rock. Even more stooges!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Oh boy bring on the Zakamania

    ReplyDelete
  5. I can hardly wait! I need laughs. It was a long tiring week.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Whenever I'm out doing something abnormal... er... paranormal, I use the WTF method... :oD

Thanks for posting about that bag from the Army Surplus place... I bought one!!!

    ~shoes~

    ReplyDelete
  7. Shoes--I'm so glad you did. That bag is awesome and stays on your shoulder too.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ok, so 3 minutes into Paranormal Challenge and I'm with Cullen Hudson...this is making me uneasy. This is ghosthunting as a spectator sport.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Heehee. I can't wait to see it, Lewis! I have to wait hours! Keep me posted if you can.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Well it's a male team vs. a female team and Zak is excited by the "battle of the sexes." But the whole concept seems really lame.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I'm hoping he throws in a few fake haunting features and sees if they can detect it was something explainable, but that would take intelligence. Perhaps he might get someone to help him with how to direct people in ghost hunting cause we know he doesn't know how.

    ReplyDelete
  12. He has a team of "experts" who are actually monitoring the teams. I wasn't paying much attention though, when they were introduced.

    ReplyDelete
  13. This is like sending out storm chasers and giving them points if they can find a tornado. It's not really fair...whoever just happens to be in the right place at the right time wins.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lewis; you are totally right! There are good nights and bad nights, good spots and bad spots. I'd like to see them put together a team of psychics and see if they do better than regular ghost hunters shooting in the dark. I think it would be interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Indeed. One of the females claims to be sensitive, but I'm not sure if that's given her a leg up.

For me, one of the major issues with so many of these shows is that they spend a few hours in a location and say it's not haunted. Thus, many investigators now don't often spend much time in a location. I'd love to see a location investigated over an extended period of time rather than just a few hours. This show is just backing up that assertion.

  16. The feller on the gent's team reminds me of a carnival barker or a stage magician.

    ReplyDelete
  17. oh hey, i'm out to watch X-Men First Class. I just got dumped, going to lick my wounds with that.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Pangs;
He probably is a carnival barker.

    WWHIM;
    Aw. Poor lamb.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Next time we investigate, we can't forget the thermal thingy.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thermal thingie. haha. Yeah. Maybe those things with the lights on them that talk to ghosts... hee hee

    ReplyDelete
  21. I am curious. I can't imagine there is any real ghost hunting going on, but it'll be fun if they simple do stupid things.

    ReplyDelete
  22. We get to watch how others do ghost hunts..... interesting and funny.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeah, no rhyme or reason, huh? You know, I was thinking about it and the show ER shows a pretty realistic portrayal of an ER in a lot of ways, but doctors don't learn how to be doctors by watching that show, and yet all these yahoos are running around doing ghost hunts using TAPS as their example. No one asks questions, tries new things, adapts to the reported features and location.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Exactly. That is what will make POE so different.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ghostestes wear thermal underwear???

I ain't afeered of no ghosts...

    :oD

    ~shoes~

    ReplyDelete
  26. We're different all right. Hee hee We have no box to be outside of.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Shoes;
Thermal underwear? Land sakes! I don't wear those and I'm alive.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I suppose if it is a Cowboy ghostie. They probably wear thermals.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Damn! Remember in Tombstone, how every time a reenactor cowboy went by, I got all schoolgirl giggly? I hate to imagine them with long johns under those clothes. Seem less dangerous.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Damn it would so hot to wear them in the summer.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yuck! I bet they smelled great. Now I'm thinking about those cowboy actors again and getting all giggly.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I love them cowboys. They were too tough for deodorant. ....I bet the wild west cowboys smelt like whiskey and dirt.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yeah. Those ones in Tombstone were delicious, but also very neat and clean and well pressed.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Too tought for deodorant?

    That sounds skeery...

I remember a great scene in 'Jeremiah Johnson,' when Will Geer, the grizzly bear hunter, tells Jermiah Johnson that he's the same pilgrim he's heard for 7 days and has smelled for 3!!

    HA!!!!

I wonder if those wild west cowboys wore the kind of boots I'm a'wantin...

    ~shoes~

    ReplyDelete
  35. If they're red boots, dear, I doubt it. I just saw that movie the other day. I forgot how much I liked it. I love any movie about people going to live in the wilderness. When I was a kid, "My Side of the Mountain" was my dream, a kid moving into the woods alone.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yea, neat and pressed like the Earps and not messy like the Clantons.....hee hee.

    ReplyDelete
  37. OK, ladies... which 'Earp?" Kevin Costner's 'Earp' or Kurt Russell's 'Earp?'

Which Doc Holliday? Val Kilmer's 'Doc' or Dennis Quaid's 'Doc?'

    ~shoes~

    ReplyDelete
  38. Kevin (although I adore Kurt--yum) and Val.

    ReplyDelete
  39. LMAO @ Autumn... Yeah, I liked Val portrayal the best, I think, although Dennis Quaid was good as well...

I think I would have been more afraid of Kilmer's 'Doc' than I would have been of 'Quaid's...

    ~shoes~

    ReplyDelete
  40. That's what I was thinking. There was something less alert about his eyes that made Kilmer seem a bit more unpredictable. Yes, Kurt is yummy. Love him in Captain Ron!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am all for Captain Ron, Kurt and Val for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Julie, girl of good tastes! Okay, so who are the three actors you'd most love to sleep with (if you weren't married, of course).

    ReplyDelete
  43. Shit I don't know.....hum, Ray Liotta, Dennis Quaid and Sam Worthington and the sexiest man, Ryan Reynolds. What about you Sis?

    ReplyDelete
  44. LMAO!! I knew that Autumn would come out with that kind of question!!!

No love for Sam Elliot? ;o)

    ~shoes~

    ReplyDelete
  45. Adrian Paul (Highlander)
Oded Fehr (The Mummy--long dark hair and tattoos, leader of the protectors of the tomb) Also the gigolo in Deuce Bigalow
    Rutger Hauer (The Hitcher)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh, I like Sam Elliot too. Hadn't thought of that. I don't see him anymore in stuff, so I forgot. Yummers! To have that voice in my ear.. yes! yes! yes!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Rutger and Sam, sure why not. Let us not forget Joel McHale and Sheldon (ha ha ha)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Oh yes! I love my funny guys oh so much! My problem is the list is smaller who I'm not interested in. I would never under any circumstances sleep with Brad Pitt (icky-poo!) or George Clooney (too much like sleeping with your brother). I really disliked Kevin Costner in every way. I also wouldn't sleep with Mel Gibson on a bet. Oh, yes, I would add to the top of the list Sean Connery (now, not younger)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Let's not forget my vampires, werewolves and shapeshifters. They would be interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I am leaving this party. It is bedtime. ....... goodnight.

    ReplyDelete
  51. AutumnForest? What if you were with one of Adsila's shapeshifters, and at the last moment, he shifted into Kevin Costner??

    :oD

  52. Just droppin by to say hey! Even though It's like.. 5 hours after a Friday night.

I went to my first Con today :-D Dressed up as a Woodland creature...I was fancy and had a top hat. Going tomorrow as Black Mamba... then trying to figure out one for Sunday. :) Fun times. Lol

    ReplyDelete
  53. Oh, Soraya;
    I want to see pics!!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I'll post 'em on my blog once I'm done not being dead. Lol Black Mamba was a success, except only 1 person knew exactly who I was. I did an unknown villain. From Marvel. Apparently this Con was more DC Oriented, as we found the ENTIRE cast of Batman villains, my friend being one of them.
There was a Rave Friday/Saterday night... So we did another outfit for that, and THAT got me a hell of a lot attention. Although I was a lot more clothed than the majority of the chicks there, I looked good... and everyone kept sticking glowsticks down my cleavage. I had Epic Cleavage... I love when I have those days. Lmao!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Epic cleavage, that's when you know you're going to have a good evening! Can't wait to see it.
