Lonely on a Friday Night--Join Us Here!

It's that magical time. I'm in all evening. What's new? Still haven't been asked out since the prom. I feel like I did when no one picked me for the kickball team in grade school. Well, I'm in tonight. Let's chat.

  1. Really! I'd love to see that!

  2. (checked my shirt). I'm only partially hanging out. I'm wearing an exercise bra, it won't let me completely hang out. In other words, it cups me like an eager man's hands.

  4. God, that's an entrance, HN! Wahoo! I'm in such a Halloween mood lately. It happens every June. I just start putting my mind into autumn and pumpkins, Halloween movie and Trick R Treat.

  5. Yeah, I'm already planning my Halloween party this year, and of course, the haunt. I too cannot wait, and have been reading LOTS of books on the subject of parties. Not much else I can do right now, just got my wisdom taken out. It sucks. How are you doing, Autumn?

  6. I'm doing great HN! Happy lady, busy but I like it busy. I'm working on Sheriff Kai and Julie and I are working on our book together "Kickin' Up Dust! (Getting Lost to Find Ourselves)." Working my job. Planning POE's first hunt in July. But, hoping to find parts for my steampunk ghost costume too. I'm so stoked for this Halloween. Last one, I was just moved into my apartment and settling in and I missed out on tons of things I wanted to do. This October, I'm doing everything!

  7. Oops, I meant "Got my wisdom teeth taken out". Heh heh

  8. I think it's cool that you've started your own ghost hunting group. I'd really like to find a home haunt club in Western PA. It seems they exist everywhere but where my haunt is. Oh well.

  9. You poor lamb. Yes, I do recall what that's like. I had a tooth pulled about a year ago. They held me down in the seat and it took 90 minutes to pull while I'm wide awake. I wanted to be put out for it, but they made me feel like a pussy for asking, so I toughed it out. She ended up snapping the bone and it stuck out of the gums and had to later be pared down. Jeez! You do what they say and in a couple days, you start to feel more normal and in a week, you feel really good and in two weeks, it's a faint memory.

  10. I was lucky - they put me under for it. Having a soft diet sucks, though.

  11. I just helped my future daughter-in-law through it. Broth and Sprite. Later, onto things like milkshakes, yogurt, working your way to mac and cheese and mashed potatoes.

  12. Just driving by to say that you're AWESOME and I'd totally pick you first for MY kickball team. :)

  13. So, how's it going on your next Western Horror book? BTW, what exactly is your "Kicking up dust" book gonna be about?

  14. Thanks Eric!

    HN;
"Sheriff Kai: Zombie Outlaw Killer" is coming along nicely. I love the character. Love the situation. "Kickin Up Dust" is about Julie and I and how we met a year ago and were in bad places in our lives and started hitting the AZ road doing ghost hunts and urban exploring and going on adventures and it rubbed off on our personal lives and everything changed completely. It's about taking risks and being fearless.

  15. Wow, That's definitely a book I'd by. I've recently gone through some tough stuff with my family, but I've come out the other side not only in one piece, but wiser. I've heard that you can let pain (emotional or physical) do two things you - let it destroy you, OR let teach you, and learn from your mistakes.

  16. So true. You know, one thing about life, HN, you can't control those around you. I watched my dad work himself to death at 59, my mother smoked herself to death, my brother drank himself to death, my sister ate herself to death. I learned real early that everyone has their own voyage. Some cut across the rough water, others let the currents take them, some swim parallel with the beach and come in on the shore and out of the riptide. You have to figure which one you are. You learn to have compassion for what others go through, but you also know that the drama is around you and not in you. I learned from all those family members what not to do. Sometimes, that's more effective than what to do.

  17. Well, I've gotta go - promised I'd play "Call of Duty: Nazi Zombies" with my brother. My first video game in like 7 years... wish me luck! It's been nice chatting, Autumn!

  18. Okay, HN. Have blast. The game sounds like fun!

  19. nice evening, i think i'll just put my feet up and enjoy myself watching 'Attack of The Clones'.

  20. Sounds like a good evening BD! I think I'm going to put something on too while I writing. I don't know if I'm in the mood for 70s British horror, 80s slashers, 50s SciFi... Hmm. I think I'm in the mood for something dark and creepy like "The Haunting" with lots of atmosphere.

  21. Maybe you should try some Dr. Anton Phibes

  22. Hey, that's a good idea. Now, if I can get my other laptop to accept the damn cord so I can watch Netflix on it while using this laptop...

    ReplyDelete
  23. What did you end up watching?

    ReplyDelete
  24. The Haunting and now Devil Wears Prada. I wanted something empty-headed with great fashion.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It's a decent enough movie. Nice cast. Definitely has the fashion part.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Haha. That you give it creds is awesome. I love her makeover.
