Lonely on a Friday Night? Join Us Here!

It's that time again. Drop in. Say "hi." Chit chat. Joke around. Ask questions. Be a dork. Whatever you want to do. I'll be here all evening. Come and go as you like. I will be here the long haul and will know if you've arrived.

  1. Just waiting for you Adsila

  2. It's springtime! It's a very slow time in the blog world. I am not surprised. It's usually the hot part of summer before they rush back on again.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Awww thanks Barry. It is also Earth Day and Good Friday and some people probably have plans. Not me of course.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I visited my veggie garden on my patio today and fed it some happy fertilizer. I'm growing black heirloom tomatoes, herbs, zucchini and white eggplant.

    ReplyDelete
  5. You are not worried about the critters getting your herbs?

    ReplyDelete
  6. So far, no prarie dogs or bunnies, but everything is up on high shelving. I have room for even more. I think this fall I'll add a pot with a dwarf tangerine tree and maybe a dwarf pomegranate.

  7. "Call me the American Nightmare, Call me the American Dream, Call me Your Soul Corrupted!"

    Howdy to you Autumn!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hi-de-ho, neighbors!

I am now officially unemployed... and there's not even any freelance projects on the horizon. So, I'll be hanging out on Friday nights. :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hey HN! You got me so excited about The Fog that it's in my VCR right now. Yes, I still have it on VHS! Haha. I don't know why, but I'm nostalgic about seeing it that way. I'm about ready to hit the "go" button!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Steve;
That sucks! What kind of work were you doing?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Tell me, Autumn, did you see the prop Pumpkinrot built? It's a replica of the Ghost of Blake from "Fog". It's pretty effing awesome! There are some pretty cool pics on his blog right now.

  12. Managing an office and its staff. Scheduling, payroll, bitchy clients, stuff like that. It was strictly a short-term thing, but I'd hoped to have something else lined up by the time it ended.

    ReplyDelete
  13. HN;
Did I miss something??? I know pumpkinrot is at www.pumpkinrot.com but he has a blog? How did I not know that?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Steve;
Well, life has a funny way of making us make change before we're ready. I'm certain you have a skill set that should land you something else. Have you ever worked with temp agencies? I did that for 3 years and it was a good gig, actually. How is the writing going?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hahaha--HN! I never knew that! Every time I go on there, I avoid that button because I think he's just make pumpkin beer. Har har

    ReplyDelete
  16. Yeah, I can't remember the last time he endorsed a pumpkin booze.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I just added him to my blog list. Jeez, I feel out of the loop. Is it possible that a person can be so talented it brings tears to your eyes? If I could have a wish, I would say "screw it castles and haunted famous places" just let me hang around his place for a week and that would be my dream vacation--in the autumn time, camping outside with the props, wandering in the moonlight amongst them, lighting a bonfire. Oh man, that would be my last dying wish.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Tried the temp agency thing once about ten years ago, but they kept sending me to do telemarketing. Not my thing.

As for the writing, two recent book proposals have gone nowhere, but I'm probably going to finally finish a couple of revision projects that have been fallow for a while. They should earn me a few pennies as ebooks, given their humor roleplaying games. (A tiny segment of an already small market.)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Steve;
    Email me. psychic62@hotmail.com
I think I can help you a lot with marketing your ebooks. We're in the same boat and I think you could seriously hit your market. Two heads are better than one.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Is it wrong to say I want to live in the world of the Corn Witch (his 2009 haunt)?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Autumn, Will do!

Now I'm off to eat dinner: Curry beef with carrots and rice. Have fun all!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Nope--I'd like to be with the bayou/swamp one! That video he did, though--that was something I wanted to jump right into! I was sooooo fascinated with it. It was a world I only dreamed of. I wish he made short movies. He should stumble the pictures of his stuff on tumblr and he'd get so many reblogs on it! I just put an ad button up for him on my blog because he really is my favorite halloween artist in all the world. He gives us hope for those who love the season. I dream of living a life like that, surrounded by creepy things in my house and yard, writing horror stories...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sounds like a good dream. Me, I'll be content if I get to keep making stuff for Halloween.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Sorry I had to take care of the hubby *wink*

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yeah. I know what you mean. I'm so busy writing my horror, I don't have time to make a good horror spot. I want to horror-up my apartment more. The cool thing about having my own place is that I no longer have to keep it in model-house showcase condition. I can insert myself into it. I'd like to get long lengths of rusty chain and rusted farm implements to hang overhead.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Wow, sis, that was quick. You are ever efficient.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I've gotten a whole bunch of really cool Halloween-themed art work to hang on the walls of lair, including a "Trick 'r Treat" poster!

    ReplyDelete
  28. On a side note, I'm dead tired, and I'm off to bed. 'night, Autumn!

    ReplyDelete
  29. HN;
I want to hear more about the decorating of the lair later. G'night

    ReplyDelete
  30. LOL he was on a schedule. I am going to scan the cable channels to see what is on tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm watching the end of "Scream" (the original). I was in the mood for it and then I'm putting on "The Fog." Yahoo! GA is running in a marathon tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  32. When we buy a house it will be decorated with cool old furniture. My room will have a western Steampunk look to it.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I love that!!! I am having a hard time figuring out how to coordinate my Ikea home with horror, but I might concentrate the horror in one room. I still want the vampire mannequins in costumes! I want to find Dale a 3-month old baby's outfit that looks Victorian steampunk. We must invent his costume! He'd be a cool sidekick if he looks steampunk, wouldn't he? He needs a hat too.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Watching GA right now they are at the Stanley Hotel

    ReplyDelete
  35. I missed that one. Was it any good? It'll be on here, but not until about 9

    ReplyDelete
  36. Zak got to play with an axe and we all learned what Aaron's snores sound like lol

    ReplyDelete
  37. Seriously? No screaming like girls and running? No Zak trying to entice a girl (or guy) ghost into his bed?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Definitely Dale in Steampunk clothes. I made put his picture in one of my crafts. You can turn your office into a horror room.

    ReplyDelete
  39. He would look very creepy in one of our crafts with a little hat and all. We are going to have to do a little online shopping for him. I'll send you pics and you help me choose his new look. He's going to hate it, which will make it even more fun. I wonder if we can get him a monocle?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Would we see Zak any other way but screaming like a girl, LOL?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I had an idea for a parody of Zak. I will be putting that up soon on the blog. Hee hee

    ReplyDelete
  42. Dale might like the Steampunk look. He will probably will think he is too cool and be even harder to live with.

    ReplyDelete
  43. This is true, but still, he has to wear baby clothes which always pisses him off.

    ReplyDelete
  44. He may take on a biker hardass personality with his new Steampunk clothes. You should let him get a tattoo, LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  45. That is oh so tempting. He's way too squeaky clean for me and I'd like to make him disturbing like the other dolls...

    ReplyDelete
  46. I guess that might be a little too much like Chucky. We shall find him some cool new clothes to wear for his new singing gig.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Yeah. I do like the idea of a hat. He could use sunglasses too. They make those baby ones with a strap on them that holds them on. Then his creepy eyes won't stare. Maybe he should go on the next road trip, huh? Should I play the old "happens to be in the trunk" trick on our car ride partners?

    ReplyDelete
  48. Yea take him on our trip to Tombstone. The ghosties in our room will love him.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I think it might freak everyone else which makes it even more fun. He needs just the right duds. I gotta start searching...

    ReplyDelete
  50. Tombstone is a western town, so dress him either like a sheriff or outlaw.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Holy shit! Can you see him in the little boots and vest and hat? That's ideal for AZ!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I found a woody costume from Toy story! haha

    ReplyDelete
  53. I don't know. I'd like him to wear something less babyish and more like those little genuine costumes. Hmm...

    ReplyDelete
  54. You could go crazy at Dale's expense, haha!

    ReplyDelete
  55. The baby costumes crack me up--a tootsie roll, a sunflower... haha
I actually want to make him disturbing cool and edgy.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Oh yes, he would look wonderful in poses. Can you imagine his expression while wearing a lion costume?

    ReplyDelete
  57. Mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. He will definitely plot an evil plan of revenge.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Remember his expression at Hotel Vendome when we left him propped against the door to the haunted closet? Hee hee. I swear he has expressions.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yeah he went from happy to scared when you sat him by the door. That scared me.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Imagine what his anger looks like.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yeah. I figure we make him look either very preppy like an Intel employee with khakis and an izod and sunglasses or we put him in full-out cowboy with hat and boots. Oh, I have a great idea! I'll find the outfits, post them on the blog and let everyone vote!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Haha. I never thought I'd shop for a baby again. This is fun!

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't claim him. He certainly doesn't take after me. Well, perhaps the dollie porn filming. I could see me doing that. Well, I could also see me hiding the knives at Halloween. I could see me filming myself while sleeping. Oh hell! He's just like me (wink)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Creepy, huh? I'm thinking he might look good as a hipster with a fedora...

    ReplyDelete
  65. If you can swing it, get him a couple of fun costumes.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I decided--definitely hipster. An untucked silk bowling shirt and a panama hat--he'll look like he should be in vegas.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Viva Los Vegas! And on that note I wish you a good night. I am getting tired..... night Sis

    ReplyDelete
  68. G'night Sis! Anyone else, I'm still up.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hey Autumn! They say Banana Republic has clothes in Dale's size.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Hey Autumn! Sorry I missed ya tonight :( I had to help out a photographer with a family shoot. I'm a pro at holding reflectors now :-p

Anyways, I sent you an e-mail (Hopefully it's your current one), and I was really hoping you could get back to me on that one :)

    Hope everythings going well :-D
