A couple short vids of the snow in Sedona

Oh, and you know how Julie and I have to find the Mexican Restaurant in town, so here's what Sedona offered (sour cream/spinach enchilada) and (cheese/green chilies enchilada) followed by... chocolate chimichanga.

  1. You know, I make really good cheese/green chile enchiladas. I need to master the chocolate chimichanga, but I suspect I'd make a better one because I'd add some cinnamon and cardamom.

  3. Hey Echo;
    I thought it'd be cruel to tease folks with too much dessert. It was sinfully good, though. I go to that restaurant for that particular dessert and also to sit on the outdoor patio with a margarita, but it was snowing and I was driving, so I stuck with tea. Ah, next time I go there, I will have to enjoy myself.

  4. Yum, that spinach and cream cheese chimi was soooooo delish! Oh yeah, the chocolate chimi for dessert was equally as good.

  5. Adrian;
    Apparently so! Here in Phoenix, however, we'll be up to 90 this weekend (ugh!) I think it's hot when it's over 78!

  6. First of all just knowing that a chocolate chimichanga is something that actually exists makes me really, really want a chocolate chimichanga. But you actually go the extra mile and throw the Sade in the background.

    Well played my friend, well played indeed...

  7. Aaron;
    Glad you appreciated it. I try to make it exquisitely painful to watch. Are you salivating now?

  8. Enough to consider the 30 mile jungle drive to get a Hershey bar? Just about...

  9. Poor lamb. Then, I will try not to tease you about the dirty chocolate chip cookies that I make. (I call them that because they have shaved chocolate in the dough--and perhaps because they're sinfully naughty).

  10. Yes, by all means, DO refrain from teasing me about such cookies. Lest I think other things besides cookies are the ones who are sinfully naughty right now...

  11. Aaron, you need to quit reading about treats and get to sleep, dude. You are a hoot!

  12. You call THAT driving in snow? LOL!

    Beautiful country up there though.

    You're spot-on about the chocolate chimis - definitely add the spice!

    (P.S. I absolutely LOVE Sade!)

  13. Eric;
    Sade always reminds me of a trip I made to Hawaii in the 80s. Very relaxing. Yes, that was early in the storm when I filmed. It went on for another 3-4 hours after that.
