Lonely on a Friday Night? Join Us Here!

It's that time again. Join us here. Come and go whenever you want. Chit chat, ask questions, goof off, tell me how your week was, what you're having to drink or how much snow you have on the ground because here's we're back into the low 70s and I'm bummed. I miss winter. I miss things that fall from the sky called "rain" and "snow." I'll be here all evening. You can come and go as you like, but as soon as you chime in, I'll let you know I'm here.

  2. This time of the year, the weather everywhere is like greenhouse effect in action.

  3. Echo;
    Yeah. It's weird. We're cold here in Phoenix, but no rain. It sucks!

  4. Yeah, blame it on the weatherman!

  5. I think I will. I don't envy the deep snow, but I do envy the moisture. You should see what my hair does in this dry cold weather--it's practically an afro and everything I touch, I get shocked.

  6. I see what you did there. :D
    Just stopping by to say hi! :)
    I do miss the snow, mind you. The spring came too early this year. :S

  7. I agree--much too early. I really really miss the rain the most. Just the sound of it and my hair curls so nicely in humidity.

  8. Hi, I am watching "Who do you think you are" and enjoying the smell of chocolate cupcakes. I may not be here long, I still have to mop my stinkin' floors...

  9. I found a little something for Dale.

  10. I want to be on who do you think you are! It's so unfair! I'm watching an 80s horror movie with Meg Tilly trapped in a mausoleum called "One Dark Night"

  15. Vanessa Williams is featured tonight. I love this show.

    Oh Barry, Dale likes the gross dolls. The creepy looking ones makes his plastic hair stand on its ends.

  16. Julie;
    This doll is gorgeous.

    Barry;
    She is my dream doll. There's something I feel when I look at her. I feel like she's me. Sort of had her head inside a diving helmet too long, sad and kind of meek and shattered, can't even see how she glitters.

  17. Dale likes creepy dolls and I like nerdy women.

  18. Barry;
    You are hanging around the right blog.

  19. Hello, nerdy woman, lol...

    she is a pretty doll, too good for our Dale

  21. I like how we're ripping Dale apart. This is awesome. He was just today scaring the living bejesus out of me. I was in the office and trying to move my son's bedding out of the way--since I got a new bed I don't need his old bed anymore and am waiting or my ex to store it in his home. Well, I shoved the comforter away and stood up and Dale fell off the shelves onto my head. I didn't even touch the shelves, but I think bumping the wall disrupted him. At least, I hope so. He's such a troublemaker.

  22. I would have peed my pants if he attacked me like that. Is he going to do a post about his trip with us and being left alone in Abby's room?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm sure that's it. He probably waited all week for me to be over near him so he could lunge.

  26. oh boy "Ghostly Lovers" on the travel channel

    ReplyDelete
  27. Really? Jeez, I hate being in the west--it takes forever for stuff to come on here! I'm watching Season 1 of DT. I just bought it. It's good, but not nearly as over the top as it gets in season 3/4

    ReplyDelete
  28. I liked the medieval one and even the cyclops, but that clown one was just wrong--2 fears in one/ventriloquist doll + clown!

  29. I finally delete the 21 episodes of GA I had on my DVR queue. I still have the 14 DT shows on there. I can't bring myself to get rid of those. I have the past two seasons saved.

  30. I guess the first "Ghostly Lovers" will follow Ghost Adventures next week. I've don't remember reading about this show.

  31. Barry, I heard nothing about it and Travel Channel did not tell me about it. Hmm.. I guess it's a filler, but a cool idea. There's a helluva lot of women wandering parlors waiting for their soldier boy/sailer husband to come home.

  32. Just in time for Valentines Day

  33. Perhaps that's what they were thinking. I like the idea of loving someone so much you can't be without them in the afterlife. Of course, one does need a perspective; eventually mortals die and then you have an eternity at which point after a millennium you may wonder why you wanted to share eternity together.

  34. Abby and her cat are waiting for her hubby to return to the hotel Vendome.

  35. So she can beat him with her shoe no doubt since he left her for dead.

  36. One of my favorite movies is The Ghost and Mrs. Muir

    ReplyDelete
  37. Me too-Barry. It's my favorite romantic movie ever and one of my favorite ghost ones. Oh, that captain was soooo sexy.

  41. T-Dear;

  42. Cool Beans! I'll be looking for it in a bit!

  43. I now know what's it like to be trolled lol. Writing that Dickwolf post got me semi-involved in the whole controversy swirling around the net. v

    ReplyDelete
  44. Seriously, HN? Well, I know when you write about something with a firm stand, people will always be opposed. It's like politics and religion, but if you never represent your viewpoint, you are also lost. You did the right thing and I back you up on it. It's not a popularity contest and who the hell wants to be popular with pricks? So, buck it up, baby. You did the right thing.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yeah, I don't regret writing it. The fact that I'm being trolled only strengthens my resolve lol.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I love it! Yes! Blues, I've been trolled before by people who take ghost hunting like a religion. I'm not popular when I don't regurgitate J&G's views on what a ghost is and how it works. It's the more passionate people who get lovers and haters. Look at Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh. You don't need the drama but the fact is these people have a tendency to just whirl themselves up and then blow away. I've had people come onto my blog and say "what's with the doll? Is this a blog about ghosts or a stand up comedy act?" That sounds like the question of my life, hmm... I will have to contemplate that.

  47. Haha when you write your memoirs I think that would make for an excellent subtitle. :D
