What's Up Next at GHT???

Jokes aside, please... Yes, I am going to be going back to my maiden name soon. Yes, it is "Day." So, Day jokes are getting old. My new apartment is the "Day Spa." (I've heard that one before, thank you). This picture above? It was of a very bright Day (and I appreciate that one, actually).

So, what's up with GHT for the rest of the year besides the usual insane train trip through the rocky terrain of my overly cheerful, utterly demented and psychically sensitive mind?

Here's just a few things I've jotted down (below), but I am also a woman of whims, so I may just go on a trek in search of fairies in the desert and film it for you. You just don't know depending on my fancies on that particular day. (No more Day jokes, puh-lease!)

A clown doll named Skittles the Clown (thank you Barry from Gnostalgia for naming him. Barry has my favorite book review site ever, as well as brilliant insights into the paranormal shows and anything spiritual/spooky). So, Dale the Doll will no longer be the only mascot around here. The only great unknown is, what will the clown doll's personality be like?

I plan to videotape myself doing a reading on an object and then have the person whose object it is describe my accuracy. I've never done a video of this process but I'd like to show people how psychometry is done and take it out of the shadows. I do not like to look at the person or hear from them. I turn away from them and ask them not to speak so I don't go down the wrong path by being influenced by their reactions.

I'm continuing the Ghost Hunting Theories series delving into alternative explanations for hauntings and the pro's and con's of each theory.

As I'm working on my workbook "Was That a Ghost?" I will be refining the way I go about writing the book. I realized that I go through a certain pattern of questioning and going to deeper and deeper levels with clients to help them discern if something was paranormal and if so, what kind of paranormal? So, I will be wanting feedback from ya'all to help me further define the layout of this book.

I will go on more crazy trips. In fact, this weekend is another one with Julie that is Halloween-oriented and a huge farm that does an insane Halloween Carnival and will end at a haunted hotel we're staying in, in the first in my video series "Pajama Ghost Hunt" so next week you want to stay tuned in for that hilarity as we poke fun at Ghost Adventures and other hunting shows in our Victoria's Secret PJs.

I will continue to stalk, I mean follow, Ben From "Fact or Faked" as they go into a new season and you know those hot and steamy tank top breast shots will be back up with each episode review and perhaps another LAUGH episode poking loving fun at the show. I'm looking forward to this show because in a lot of ways it's like GHT in a bottle in concentrated form. Whereas I'm wandering all over the subjects, they get to focus on them in a tiny allotted air time and I appreciate the hell out of what they're doing (and envy them, lucky bastards).

I am hoping to expand with more interesting interviews and crazy videos of ghost hunts and perhaps a few practicals showing you how to approach a hunt and such. After all, I may get off track easily on this blog, but the premise still is theories about ghost hunting and all things paranormal, so expect me to go a bit deeper into that and also have regular posts about the psychic world because I've realized a great many of my followers are fledglings (do a search on the bar on the right hand side for "fledgling" and you'll get my past series about fledgling psychics). I hope to put a chapter in my workbook just about fledgling psychics and what to do with your abilities to take them to the next level. I also would like to hit more abandoned sites and do some videotaping, perhaps even us being chased away by squatters. You just never know when I go to do something. I'm a bit Lucille Ball, (and it ain't just the hair, but the hare-brained).

Stick around, have some chuckles, come in on Friday night if you're lonely to chat and be silly, and know that I always read your comments, I always take what you say very much to heart, and I adore each and every one of my followers, as your opinions mean more to me than you can possibly know. You have created this monster with your own enthusiasm for GHT.. I love ya'all!

    Dear, sweet, darling Monkey, I hope you enjoy the next season. I am sure they are a bit more savvy about how to tackle the subject matter. If not, we will be ever entertained and you can come here after seeing the show to commiserate with others if they are discouraged. If they didn't take themselves so seriously, this could be a fun show. I could see it like how college kids knock around concepts on urban legends and tackle it like Ghost Adventures. They need personalities and they need playfulness.

  5. Weh-heh-heh-heh-El, Baby Girl, Day's your maiden name, ay? Welcome to good company! The flautist & chanteuse of the much-loved albeit obscure & sadly defunct Downtown NYC Goth band, The Plague, is/was Margot day. I wonder iffen you're to each other? Her latest project is mOss Circle. I'm sorry I've not stopped over more frequently. I'll catch you up offboard better.

  6. "I wonder iffen you're related to each other?", should've been the correct sentence. Yeesh. I was never hired for my proofreading non-skills, that's fershure. Apologies ~ (•8-P

  7. My dear bror;
    Day was a made-up name. When my dad came to America as a child, his father thought "Thorvaldsen" was too old world, so he changed his name, only didn't come up with a name to change it to. The judge's name was Day, so he used that. It's a total joke of a name, but I like not having to spell it.

  8. If you are Lucy does that make me Viv? I am looking forward to more trips with you and our other ghost hunting buddies (hoping to get Mike to go on a hunt with us). I am excited to see what happens with our Abandoned Places book. It sounds like you have the rest of the year planned out well.

  9. Sis;
    I have to admit, you've been a doll to go along with me on my crazy rampages through the state and hopefully after we get this book to bed, we can move on to the others in the series--more road trips--yahoo! This weekend will be a total blast. I suspect we might even find an abandoned place or two where we're headed. That part of The Valley has some interesting abandoned places.

    Wish I had something interesting to contribute in the comment section but alas since I know nothing about ght... I'll continue to watch and learn from here.

  12. Paula;
    A lot of what I do on here is just fun and silly and then sometimes I contemplate the bigger picture but I look at what's going on to decide. Like this is Halloween month so I want to stick to things more spine-tingling, but in November and December when people are cooped up indoors, I might do more about the dark stuff and some more education about the paranormal. In the summertime, I'm total fluff and silliness because no one is serious then. So, enjoy, sweetie!

    Ya'll are ever patient. The idea of the blog really was to present tons of stuff in many different ways and open people's minds up about the paranormal but also about their lives in general. No sitting still here. Always moving, always questioning, never accepting answers, wanting to know "but why?" "but why?" "but why?" I guess I'm in the "but" in that question, huh?
