ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday !
ReplyDeleteThanks Barry;
ReplyDeleteMy son and his girlfriend are making me custom pizza and cheesecake. So naughty. They are adorable. They made me a collage of abandoned sites and then a blown up picture of them as zombies. I love them! I'm not your usual mom and they totally get me.
yum pizza and cheesecake my favorites
ReplyDeleteBarry;
ReplyDeleteYou want leftovers? They probably won't be a drop. Sorry. :-P
I don't mind leftovers, I'm watching Ghost Adventures reruns now.
ReplyDeleteLucky boy! Until the divorce is over, I can't get a TV for the living room. Listening to Muse music instead while the kids make my pizza--my favorite, mushrooms and olives. Smells good. Having a glass of disaronno on the rocks--very early to be doing that, but heck, it's my b-day.
ReplyDeletemushrooms and olives are my favorite. I am be happy eating them from a plate, but on a pizza yum.
ReplyDeleteOh, it smells like a pizza parlour and the disaronno is making me all rubbery inside.
ReplyDeleteless than one hour til an all new Ghost Adventures
ReplyDeleteyou know getting crusty pizza sounds just right for dinner.
ReplyDeleteBarry--lucky, lucky! It's not on until 11 here!
ReplyDeleteEcho;
Pizza was perfect!
Hola! I could really use a drink.
ReplyDelete[word captcha: muclopab - I really think this thing is taunting me in some secret language]
Pangs;
ReplyDeletePour yourself a stiff one. A drink, that is, unless you're otherwise inclined.... I'm having Disaronno on the rocks myself.
I am with drink. Insanity to follow.
ReplyDeletePangs;
ReplyDeleteI expect you to be more prophetic than usual. :-)
I dreamed about an attractive alien babe and a giant flooding storm last night. That's surely prophetic, no?
ReplyDeleteThe GA boys have joined the yankee army? Will they do an episode as confederates or will that be too politically incorrect?
ReplyDeletePangs;
ReplyDeleteI like your dreams. Let's intrepret it... You believe that alien women are very wet.
Barry;
Really? They should be Yankees. They'd look miserable in gray.
I don't think the greys didn't have tight enough uniforms for those boys.
ReplyDeleteAm I crazy? I'm stuck with my son's leftover shitty little TV with VHS so I'm watching the old VHS collection I just couldn't let myself get rid of. It's kind of interesting cause some of the movies are ones I couldn't find on DVD. I put in an old Ghost Hunters tape and I'm watching the Ft. Mifflin episode where Grant wets his pants when he sees the face. Back in the heyday when the show still had charm. ah....
ReplyDeleteZak seems to love his yankee kepi he is wearing it everywhere
ReplyDeleteHmmmm....two or three sips and I'm already writing like a maroon. Lawl.
ReplyDeleteYou might be crazy for watching old GH. I still have a VHS for all the old crap I will never get on DVD but will still watch on occasion.
ReplyDeleteZak has a real thing for costumes, remember the Italy episode and the beak face he was wearing? Or the time they were in Tombstone and they wore cowboy gear? I wonder what he does if he goes to see a fashion show?
ReplyDeletePangs;
You're probably right. How the hell do they fit Zak with those steroid-riddled guns he's packing? They must have to sew two uniforms together. The pants, however, they have to take in at the crotch (ball shrinkage, you know)
It's like 8-Track, baby. You just get a different feel from it--especially when the tracking doesn't work for shit. I have some movies on there I just can't get on DVD, even in the black market. Yeah, raunchy ones. Nothing like some porno on VHS to get you in the mood for the 70s and men with mustaches and horn music...
ReplyDeleteA bazillion Godzilla films, the Ken Burns baseball series and a ton of movies taped from TCM back in the day.
ReplyDeletePangs;
ReplyDeleteSome TCM movies I loved...
"Midnight Lace," "Rear Window," "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir"
Sadly, I can claim ownership to some really terrible VHS porn. A back alley bar I used to go to play darts had "lingerie girls" which were bedraggled looking hags in lingerie selling raffle tickets. The winning ticket could choose a piece of lingerie or a VHS movie.
ReplyDeleteTalk about horror.
The G & Mrs M is a wonderful classic.
ReplyDeleteJust couldn't get rid of `em, could ya? I admit, I love porn and sometimes it's even better when it's just godawful. I have La Bete and that is a classic. Oh my gosh! Don't even know how to describe the beast but it was so freaking funny and titillating because it was so absurd. Erotic Night of the Living Dead--really not a zombie movie in the least, but a couple of hardcore scenes. You forget it's supposed to be about zombies. Where the hell are they? I got it thinking the zombies would have sex. I wanted to see what that's like. Don't know why. I've had sex with a zombie before. Miserable.
ReplyDeleteHey, Autumn! How are things down in AZ?
ReplyDeleteI used to just put in tapes before leaving the house and tape whatever was on TCM until the tape ran out since they would play movies uninterrupted on TCM back then and lots of the movies were hard to get hold of.
ReplyDeleteAround Halloween, it was all old horror, which was great.
Zack just felt someone grab his ass hard! Lawl!
ReplyDeleteWith accompanying "ball of energy" caught zooming away from him. I'm dying laughing.
Hey HalloweeNut;
ReplyDeleteIt's freaking hot--107 today! Good God! I work from home and stopped at 2 to go down to the pool. It's beautiful--butts up against the desert preserve and just so relaxing, but the key didn't work in the gate (some days it does, some days it doesn't). I was bummed. I think the men in the workout room looking out at the pool were bummed too. I just went home and took a warm shower (we don't get cold water when it's this hot out). Ick! I'm sure it's more autumnal there, huh?
Pangs;
I readily admit that the Ghost and Mrs. Muir is the most romantic and fantastic movie of all time. I just adore it!
Actually, today it was freezing! It was worse at my school, because they run AC regardless of weather. I came home with icicles hanging off my... never mind...
ReplyDeleteHalloweeNut;
ReplyDeleteWoolen underwear is a must! I cannot remember what cold feels like. I'm one of those people that doesn't get cold easily. I stand in an icy rain and feel so thrilled and I like polar bear jumps into icy water. I am perpetually hot. Your climate sounds so nice.
I read this far and was really wondering where you were going with this "I work from home and stopped at 2 to go down to the pool. It's beautiful--butts up against the"
ReplyDelete:O
Pangs;
ReplyDeleteWhat's the drink tonight, honey? I liked how your mind traveled. Yeah, well my butt was in a modest swimsuit. The last thing I want is a bunch of guys bugging me at the pool. It's inevitable, but if I go midday, they're still at work and the rugrats aren't out of school. While I swim, the little prarie dogs and bunny rabbits hop onto the deck and scamper around and there's literally hundreds of butterflies. Sometimes, they're like gnats and they get a little annoying. They planted too many flowers!
Not doing much right now. Just jammin' to Rob Zombie's "Dragula" song. I was originally going to see opening night of Cedar Point's "HalloWeekends" event tonight. Best pro haunt in Northeast Ohio. But I couldn't come up with the money. Oh well, maybe next week.
ReplyDeleteHalloweeNut;
ReplyDeleteI was so disappointed. SyFy gave me an invite to an exclusive showing of the haunted show in Disneyworld in Florida and some Harry Potter thingie... Just for the press. I would have loved to go to that, of course they invited me just 2 weeks before it happens and I have no PTO saved up to take time off. Oh well. I am going to do a bunch of haunted events and ghost tours around here this October so that'll keep me happy. Damn, I love that song Dragula! It's one of my favorite songs when I'm dancing and for riding in the car.
I am currently drinking a bellini.
ReplyDeleteMy only excuse is that I had carted some bottles home from work (so they wouldn't get used, lawl) and they've been sitting in the bar and I just f'n felt like it.
Well, we wouldn't want you doing anything untoward! Nope. Not at all.
ReplyDeleteMy other favorite Zombie song would have to be "War Zone" which he based on the "Punisher" comci books. Such an awesome song!
ReplyDeletePangs;
ReplyDeleteYou're a randy dog!
HalloweeNut;
I have a mix I made of songs that I thought sounded like Halloween and Dragula was on there and I think I had another Zombie on there, a bunch of songs from "The Craft," "The Covenant" and "Practical Magic." I should pull that out--it's that time of the year again.
Howdy ya'll.....watching my recording of GA, exciting! How is everyone doing? Did you enjoy your birthday Autumn? Also, did you catch both episodes of DT yesterday?
ReplyDeleteIf your looking for good Halloween music, I have 4 words for ya: "Halloween at High Noon"! It's impossible to describe, just sample it on amazon.com. Awesome Halloween dance music! Kicks "Thriller" right in the ass!
ReplyDeleteGimme some The Ballad of Resurrection Joe and Rosa Whore and Meet the Creeper
ReplyDeleteSis;
ReplyDeleteYou're gonna spank my butt, but I had the shows on last night and I was busy working on my book. I looked up sometimes but I lost the whole gist of what they were doing. I know I'm going to have to watch them when I get my big screen. Right now, I'm stuck with this little shit tv and it just ruins all the handsome Josh closeups. :-)
Oh, and I had a wonderful b-day. I feel very loved.
I like some of the songs on the Demon Knight soundtrack.
ReplyDeletePantera "Cemetery Gates" is always good
HalloweeNut;
ReplyDeleteYou rock! Thanks! I've been looking for more tunes to get me in the mood because right now the only thing I have in my living room is a crappy boombox for entertainment.
You know Syfy, they usually repeat the shows. Are you going to miss the GA boys? You have to check out their photos, lol.
ReplyDeletePangs;
ReplyDeleteYou know your tv/movies/music. I trust you, buddy.
Julie;
I promise I will see GA and mostly because I just really love to laugh and they make me hysterical. Plus, I have my drink ready so.... That reminds me, I believe Dale will have a drunk blogging video tomorrow on my blog. He's such a nuisance. He did the drinking game during a GA marathon--the idiot!
Stop trying to cramp Dale's style!
ReplyDeletePangs;
ReplyDeleteYou would let the beast take over my home, wouldn't you? He needs to know his place. I'm the one who pulls his strings. Besides, he drank my last Bud Lites with Lime--dammit!
Autumn, Dale is such a lightweight. I can't imagine what the video will be like. The last time he got that drunk, he ran amok in a cemetery and looked up the female statues dresses.
ReplyDeleteYou know, he told me he couldn't remember what he put on the video, so who knows? The tortured dolls on the shelves near him don't seem upset, so he must not have messed with them. More than likely, he just sat on my bed and stared at me, willing me to wake up and be scared.
ReplyDeleteBeer theft is unconscionable. Law down the law.
ReplyDeleteSee? I knew you'd understand, Pangs. He is a rascal and unfortunately beer for him is like a bottle of vodka for a human.
ReplyDeleteMy pal Deacon is always talking Dale up from my bedside (he looks like this, but smaller http://assets.boardingschoolwizard.com/uploaded/deacon.jpg and no, I don't really know why I have him - someone gave him to me and I felt sorry for him, so I kept him). I must be losing my objectivity.
ReplyDeleteDamn, Pangs! You are the single most complex follower on here and that says a freaking lot. I never know what to make of you. Surprises at every turn. What a delight! Deacon is a lucky fellow you felt compassion for him. If I looked that goofy, would you keep me at your bedside?
ReplyDeleteThat Zak. He thinks everyone wants a piece of him. So, apparently if they're on a battlefield, it's a soldier dude wanting some? If it's not the incubus wanting him, it's the soldiers. Hmm....
ReplyDeletePangs;
ReplyDeleteIt would appear that Zak is the "girl" bait of the three.
Me too Pangs....I wonder if it was a male ghost, lol?
ReplyDeleteDamn, that went by fast when you FF the commercials, good show.
ReplyDeleteOkay, okay... I just have to wait 3 freaking hours??? Wah!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie
ReplyDeleteDales the man .... errr doll
It does go by quickly. I keep missing half of DT while pottering around doing other things. Thank goodness, it's on all the time and I get to see the bits I miss.
ReplyDeleteThe GA camera guy (I think?) that makes the O face all the time may not be a looker, but he seems like a good man to have a brew with.
Speaking of half watching, I decided The Time Traveler's Wife (I know, I know, but it was on, so I watched...sort of) is perfect for me. It took about 4 attempts to see the whole thing, but it didn't matter that I watched it all out of order, lawl.
Autumn, what time does Cox have the show on?
ReplyDeleteHi Barry, Clean up the trailer park next time you have a wild party there. You never know who will drop in on you. BTW, are you missing anything?
I leave it that way to attract beautiful ghost hunting babes
ReplyDeletePangs;
ReplyDeleteYou are a better man than I (hahaha). I tried to watch Titanic 5 times, fell asleep every freaking time and I'm not a person who EVER falls asleep during a movie (well except for the lame-o sex ed ones in school)
Barry;
You need to leave your place in total disarray and make moaning sounds so the neighbors call us in for an investigation. That's one way to get us to your door.
house in disarray, wine, candles got it
ReplyDeleteJulie;
ReplyDeleteCox doesn't show GA until 11! God, I hate cox! Well, I don't hate cocks. I hate Cox! They're always screwing me. Not cocks (don't have any of those at the present time), but Cox--they're always screwing me.
I have to admit the messy abandoned look did attract us into checking the place out. Where were you hiding Mr. Barry?
ReplyDeleteHe usually checks out early on Friday nights, I noticed. Maybe he has a date or he's an early sleeper. My husband dropped by to give me some stuff I had left behind and a birthday card with a Lowe's gift card inside. Guess I can get one ceiling fan now. That'd be nice. I like my bedroom to be super chilly and dark.
ReplyDeleteAutumn, it is too bad you can't get Direct TV, I am spoiled getting the east coast feed.
ReplyDeleteI probably could, but I need my internet and phone from cox, so I just bundle. Who said bundling cox is the way to go? Some things should not be wrapped up tightly. hee hee
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Pangs? Did he wander off again? Keeping that boy on-task is a hard endeavor.
I did wander. I can't help it.
ReplyDeleteYesterday, I went to make some pancakes for breakfast and ended up cleaning the stove and organizing the spices. Ended up sweaty and with wrinkly fingers, but no pancakes.
Pangs;
ReplyDeleteDamn if you don't sound like me. I go to put something away, notice something else, begin a project, realize I left a project in the room I came from, go back to the room I came from to finish the project but realize I left the lights on in the other room and the thing halfway done that I'd trip over during the night.... Hee hee. It's a never ending cycle. Did you finish the whole bottle of bellini?
LOL, Pangs, that happens to me too. I will start one thing and get distracted and do something else. Too bad you missed out on the pancakes, they sound good.
ReplyDeleteIt's just as well. He doesn't want to lose his boyish figure. A little spring cleaning is better for him.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I really didn't need any pancakes. I had a banana and a bottle of water. Lawl.
ReplyDeleteI did finish the one bottle of prosecco and I cracked a Rogue Northwestern Ale.
[word captcha: dines...I know it's screwing with me now for sure]
Pangs;
ReplyDeleteMy word verification is after you like Dale--it's all a plot to mess with you. Oh, northwestern ale--sounds good. I admit I like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Mmm....
Hey kiddies, I have to go. I have a busy day tomorrow. I will talk to you later...
ReplyDeleteG'night sis!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday everyone. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're all doing well.
Sam Hain;
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm having a great Friday. It's my b-day so that kind of makes me smile. Hey, did you meet me? The video earlier today on my blog? I talked to ya'all for the first time face-to-camera. Hee hee. I liked being a mystery but I want to host some crazy shit on the road with the cam, so I figured I should get everyone used to my weirdness.
Hahah Yes I did see you! It was very cool to finally put a face to the voice and the words lol.
ReplyDeleteYou almost looked a little nervous haha
Honestly, I'm not usually shy or nervous at all, but there's something about talking to a flip cam that is just freaking weird. Plus, the damn camera kept falling from its perch, so I had to redo it a million times. This apartment is too bare to make good vids. Hopefully, I can come up with a permanent little setting in my apartment where I do vlogs--something with "me" surrounding me--like lots of horror stuff and weird shit including Dale...
ReplyDeleteHahaha I love it, like a little set! That would be very cool. An outfit would be awesome as well, just saying. ;)
ReplyDeleteSam Hain;
ReplyDeleteI see myself as part Elvira, part goofy Julia Roberts. I think I could add some sunshine to horror. Hee hee. Yeah, I like that idea of a little set. Half my office isn't used in my place, so I could take that empty wall and space and make up something interesting from which to film vlogs entries. My own little show. I thought about doing some MST 3000'ing of some really bad horror movies too. Just toss popcorn at the screen, feet up on the table, mocking the movie. When I get a big screen and put it up on the wall, that's when I'll do that one. This is fun having my own place. I can make a little horror set and keep it up. Hmm.... now you have me wondering what it should look like....
I smell a design contest lol. :p
ReplyDeleteHmm... not a bad idea. Part of me thinks that it should look like a haunted house since I do Ghost Hunting Theories, sheet covered furnishings, some cheesecloth, candleabra, a few items hanging by fishing wire as if levitating...
ReplyDeleteYes and you should have some weird artifacts decorating your shelves with either fabricated or true histories.
ReplyDeleteDamn! I know what I'm doing with my Sunday off--hitting Spirit Halloween and a thrift store.... Now, I need a costume. I don't want Elvira's. I need something autumnal since I am autumn forest....
ReplyDeleteHow bout we dress you in a giant leaf! Not very sexy mind you, but very autumn ish.
ReplyDeleteHmm... maybe I could take a bunch of cloth leaves and work them into a little slinky short dress....
ReplyDeleteNot a bad idea, could be interesting!. Or or ....a pumpkin :)
ReplyDeleteYou sure you don't mean a Jack O'Lantern with the cut-outs in just the right places?
ReplyDeleteI wasn't thinking that before, but now, that's all I can imagine. >_>
ReplyDeleteHahaha
ReplyDeleteMen!
Yes, I can imagine that. Reminds me of "40-year-old virgin" when he gets waxed and becomes a "man o'lantern."
Sorry, but I am but a mere pumpkin, even I cannot resist temptation!
ReplyDeleteAh, I don't want to imagine that scene again. Very horrific. Worse than Hostel.
I had to laugh at that scene when he's bleeding afterwards. It was so real. In fact, they said he had them actually wax him so he could act better. Oh yeah, that works!
ReplyDeleteWhat about your steampunk costume idea. You can add pumpkin flair to steampunk costume.
ReplyDeleteEcho;
ReplyDeleteI do love that idea. It suits me quite well. I could incorporate some of the autumn themed things into the costume and the gadgetry and I love Victorian era stuff--a corset, a ruffly low cut blouse... hmm... You are brilliant!
Oh, and I could do the whole set and myself in a kind of Victorian era seance room theme.
ReplyDelete
