TUESDAY: Nope.

WEDNESDAY:

Discovery ChannelIs It Possible?" show "Dr. Electric, Popeye and Robosnake" Sheep play video games and create art; a human lightning rod; an extreme unicyclist; a newfound prehistoric sea creature; a robotic snake.
SyFy Channel: "Ghost Hunters" episode “Haunted Reform School" The team visits Ione, Cal., to probe Preston Castle, an early reform school for boys, where a ghost seems to get personal with Grant.
SyFy Channel: (following “Ghost Hunters”) “Destination Truth” episode described as,"Haunted Mining Town/The Taniwha" Allison Scagliotti ("Warehouse 13") joins the crew for a probe of an abandoned mining town in Chile, where ghostly miners purportedly lurk.
History Channel (I hate to mention it because I’m mad at History Channel for getting rid of good shows like this and "UFO Hunters"--and I plan to boycott the channel altogether until they get a sane programmer) “Monsterquest” is reshowing the episode about the American werewolf in the Midwest.

THURSDAY:
Travel channel: Two episodes in a row of “Ghost Stories” followed by “Mysteries of the Smithsonian” followed by “World’s Creepiest Destinations” followed by yet more episodes of “Ghost Stories

  1. It looks like Weds. is the night for paranormal TV!

  2. I don't think I've heard of that Mysteries of the Smithsonian before. Sounds like it might be interesting...I might have to add that to the DVR.

  3. Yeah, Jessica--until the other shows start up, it's pretty lame right now, although for me, Destination Truth, is THE show!

    Jeff; I've seen it before and it's good. Growing up in the DC area, I went to the Smithsonian constantly and took it for granted. It wasn't until I moved away that I realized what an unbelievable archive it is!

  4. Most Haunted is sort of a guilty pleasure isn't it. I love the screaming ...

  5. Gnostalgia;
    I admit, "Ghost Adventures" and "Most Haunted" both are my personal theaters of the absurd. Definitely my guilty pleasures. Nothing like a group of nervous Brit's jumping and startling or a bunch of steroid-ridden guys squealing like girls. They're absolutely delightful!

  6. I emailed Eileen to let her know that I was not able to recap DT last week. Katie was packing to move out and I watched Kennedy for her. Now that they have moved out, I will definately get it done this week. If GH is good, I might do that one too. Tonight, I need to finish one of the articles I have started for the Above the Norm blog. I need to get caught up.

  7. Julie;
    Yeah, nothing pries me away from DT. I'm working on another LAUGH for the series. I'm thinking of potentially having them either in therapy together or doing a ghost hunt together... I like having Josh in them--he's fun to write for.

  8. Josh should be the therapist, lol.

  9. Yeah, I was thinking of doing Drew Pinsky in a celebrity rehab kind of way, then I thought maybe I'd bring in their grunts like Kris Williams and Brad Klinge and others and have them vent their spleens, then I thought just having them on one zany ghost hunt would be fun. Jeez, these guys simply are too fun to write about.
