Ready to "Press On"?

I admit to being a huge goofy Josh Gates and the "Destination Truth" team fan. He has my sense of humor and so it's almost like he's joking with me personally, saying just what I'm thinking. I'm thrilled to see the new season unfolding on Wednesday night on SyFy and you won't pry me away from the big screen for this one. Last season was so ridiculously amazing that every single episode was a keeper! I taped all the episodes and rewatched them when I was going through withdrawal. You could consider last season's episodes my "methodone" of choice. Thankfully, I get a new season of Josh full-strength and I'll be hooked again. If only all TV shows offered this happiness vice at the same time showing scary places and creepy things.

Laughter and horror--the perfect combo!

  2. Yup--it proves to be totally exciting! He's really going for some good spots. I hope he gets back to Yeti again--he does Yeti so good! I also would love to see him go after the Tazmanian Tiger and the NW's Bigfoot.

  4. Hey Julie;
    I liked last season's team. They had a lot of good chemistry, but I wasn't a big fan of Ryder. We'll see how the gel this season, but if Josh has a strong hand in the production, it should be a stellar season again!

  6. Hey Sandra;
    Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Yeah, he's a doll. I just adore him. I'm glad the team he used last season isn't all wimpy. I hate that he plunges in and others hide, so it's nice he has some equals.

  7. Wonder if they'll lay off the local delicasies before the investigations?

  8. Burt,
    Yeah, I never thought about that. I'd think the Dead Sea location, they might find some yummies, but honestly Irish food could be a bit lacking. Somehow, I think some Guiness is definitely on tap for me during the episode! I say that when he says the thing about Orbitz.com we all raise our drinks and take a gulp--cool?

    And the locations were spectacular.

    Josh never lets me down. Even if he finds nothing, I feel like I had a crazy road trip with an insane friend who wanted to go 500 miles out of out way to see the world's largest man-made bird's nest.
