"Dream House"

This new movie coming out "Dream House" looks interesting. I'm for anything about haunted houses, so I know I'll be checking it out. Here's the official website

It is described as "soon after moving into their seemingly idyllic new home, a family learns of a brutal crime committed against former residents of the dwelling."

I'm crazy for movies where people think they found their dream house only to find out it has a dark past. When we bought Aspen Grove, my parents weren't told about the "others" but they were told it was a Civil War hospital so they were okay with that.

It wasn't until the first few nights with the booted footsteps going up the stairs that my mom began to wonder. She stopped her disbelief in ghosts the day our two dogs were growling and snarling at an unseen intruder in the front room. They tucked their tails in and snarled and dove at something that wasn't there. When the alpha dog began to dig his paws into the wood floor and tug backwards on something unseen, only to fall loose to the floor, whimper and scramble to hide under the house for a week, that my mother realized "yeah, it's haunted."

  1. I would love a house on a lake, it is a dream of mine, minus the creepy ghosts....of course.

  2. I always wanted one too--I can see myself rowing every morning for exercise and then going out in the middle of the night and floating on my back in a rowboat and watching the stars. I don't think my neighbors would like me much. I tend to not like swimsuits!
