Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum

You gotta love the Internet. I did a Google to see what was up with local zombie walks(one of my goals in life to be part of one) and they mentioned on the zombiewalk site a link to Doc Mock’s Movie Mausoleum which I had somehow never heard of.

As always, I wanted to see what Wikipedia had to say first: “On May 1, 2009, Barr started a new live web show called Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum in which he plays the mad scientist, Doc Mock, who shows obscure b-movies and z-movies while interacting with a live audience online. Each week, a different guest (usually an improviser from Upright Citizens Brigade) joins Doc Mock to commentate on the movie. Other cast members include Miss Diagnosis (Marie Barr), a nurse who handles all the chat room comments, and Licky (Ethan Newberry), a one-eyed mutant who works the control booth. The show airs Friday nights at 10pm PST on theStream.tv. Recently, Bloody Disgusting published an interview with Roger about the creation of Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum.”

Here’s what Doc Mock’s site had to say: “Not much is known about Doc Mock yet except that he’s got a mausoleum chock full o’ crazy movies that he wants to share with you! Check out Doc Mock’s Movie Mausoleum, Friday nights at 10pm PST / 1am EST as he and some patients guests expose you to a variety of unsung cinematic masterpieces from yesteryear! If you’re a fan of oddball films stuffed with more unintentional humor than you can shake a Tesla coil at, you’ve come to the right place! Doc Mock’s Movie Mausoleum: Showcasing the greatest movies ever made… that you never even knew existed.”

This reminds me a lot of the feel of MST 3000 which is one of my all-time fav’s. I love really bad movies from the SciFi/Horror genre, so it sounded pretty good for me. I'm definitely going to be doing more watching. I feel confident knowing a great deal of my followers, that this might become your geeky guilty pleasure too.
