Upcoming Zombie Movies

"Army of the Dead" 2010 release (still in development). Set in a quarantined Las Vegas in the not-too-distant future, where a father and a group of mercenaries attempt to enter the quarantined area in hopes of saving the man's daughter.

"Fading of the Cries" 2010 release (in post production now). A young man armed with a deadly sword, saves a teenage girl named Sarah from a malevolent evil that has begun plaguing a small farmland town, while in search of an ancient necklace that had belonged to Sarah’s Uncle. The two set out to get to Sarah's home safely, running through streets, fields, churches and underground tunnels, while being pursued by hordes of demonic creatures.

"Resident Evil: Afterlife" Sequel. Release 09/10/2010. In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead leads them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

I've mentioned earlier "The Horde" and "Survival of the Dead." There's a lot of zombie ones coming out--it is not going out of fashion yet, so enjoy!

  3. While I like some better than others, there's no such thing as too many zombie movies!

  4. Gummer;
    You'll be getting a gluttony of them in the upcoming year or so. They are the hottest thing, along with werewolves and vampires (thank Twilight). I'm excited about Survival of the Dead because it seems to pick up where Dawn of the Dead ended. I enjoy Resident Evil for the darkness but I also like the lead chick--she's just badass! I so wanted to recreate her outfit for a Halloween costume but I ran out of time designing the party. Next year--I hope to be able to come up with that kind of Tomb Raider/Resident Evil guns and leather chick. It's always fun to go on Halloween as something you are not in real life and I could get into that bossy character--it would bring out my inner tomboy who likes to push around the boys. I'm hoping the movies can evolve a bit from rip and chomp to more about the strategy like the original "Night of the Living Dead" where it was all about the people and how they survive it and less about feasting hordes.
