We don't know it all

Just another example that there are still weird mysteries in the world. Check out this lamb with a human's face? Is this for real? Because it's totally grossing me out. I think I'm motivated to write some real horror stories (based on real life).

  1. Gak!!!

    There's a creepy farmer/sheep joke here somewhere I'm sure, I'm just not finding it.

    Also, any word on geomagnetic activity before/during the Haiti earthquake? Just curious.

  2. Really that is horrific! My son is back to night terors again he says there's a ghost in my room. I think it must be me snoring. ;)

  3. Hey Grim;
    Yeah, that definitely was my first thought and apparently some locals (in the article) thought a man had a little something to do with a sheep. We must be evolving in a very strange way if we're able to create something with a sheep... I think a few conspiracy folks would say some aliens are playing with DNA and implanting it to make little animal/human hybrids. I'd actually believe that more than some dude's sperm worked on a sheep. On the other note, I did look up activity and it's still flat-lined as it has been pretty much since late 2008. There was solar activity, but I honestly think when the earth's ready to let loose like that, it's just going to have to happen. There might be other times when it would have happened earlier had there been geomagnetic activity but since there hasn't been any, it just finally went on its own. You usually see these things in clusters too when it's geomagnetic and I'm not seeing a lot of other big issues going on right now, so it's probably just the final straw for that fault line. It probably went longer than it would have if we weren't in a quiet period. At least, that's what I'm thinking right now.

  4. Becca;
    My son had night terrors too. He'd be screaming and sitting up but it was like nobody was home, couldn't calm him, couldn't hear you. I get them myself but only about once every 2 years. The screaming usuall wakes me up. I found that for myself and my son, we tended to get them if we were overly tired. My suggestion would be a little run around and getting warmed up around 8 pm and then to bed by 10. They really are caused by the brain getting into a certain level and getting kinda stuck, so it's unlikely there's any outside influences, so snore away. hee hee

  5. Yuck! I can hardly look at that... even if it was just a normal lamb... gross. It is interesting though how giving something a human face makes it that much more personal to everyone.

  6. Yeah, it's matrixing. Like when we see Virgin Mary on a milk carton. Still, once you see that face on it, you can't stop looking!

  7. Now that is gross! It reminds me of some of the weird stuff that used to be on the "Ripleys Believe it or Not" show.

  15. I think as humans, we can't help but see faces in everything. Once you see it, you can't stop seeing it.

    What does the mommy sheep say to the boy-man-lamb when he does something naughty?
    "You were a baaaaaahd boy."
