Happy Thanksgiving

Sappy as it sounds, I give super thanks to the people who read my blog and whose blogs I read. The sharing of knowledge, hopes, dreams, personalities and viewpoints, are all the greatest gifts. I had no idea when I set out to blog about theories surrounding ghost hunting just what I’d get out of it. I hoped to find others who were into ghosts and share experiences over our distances. Instead, I found a wonderful collection of people who are all so precious in their own ways. Every day, I’m amazed even more by how far apart some of us (a whole globe for some of us) and yet how very similar we are. Perhaps blogging isn’t so much about expressing ourselves, but finding ourselves out amongst humanity and realizing that with a bit of probing, strangers become family. To my extended family, I thank you for your presence in the blog world and for making the “real” world a better place, as well.

  2. I love my blog buddies too and am grateful to have found you all. None of my close friends are into jewelry making or ghosts, so it's wonderful to share with so many talented bloggers who can relate to my interests. I learn so much from you.
    Enjoy your day!

  3. Autumnforest-I also hope you and your family have a beautiful Thanksgiving!! I couldnt agree more with your sentiments and the comments by Hibiscus Moon and Marbella-I was also amazed when I started blogging about the wondrous world of people who shared similar -sometimes different-but always interesting visions of the things we talk about!!
    I am so glad I found out about your blog (haha of all things through James Starlight haha-who'd thunk it?:-) and Mike and Julies blog-some people limit their blog interests to just a few things- or even one thing-but there was no way I was going to do that -and now because of your work here I am more intrigued by the Ghost Hunting aspect of the paranormal than many other things i had a greater interest in before -you have done a huge amount of work here and I think the responses from people show how much it is appreciated-I know I appreciate it!!
    all the best to you and I hope you have a beautiful Thanksgiving weekend with your family!!

  4. Hey Dev;
    I'm one of those highly organized Virgo's and the supper is cooking itself, house cleaned, tablet set...Now, I get to kick back and edit my writing and check out the blogs. I hope to read more of your new one--I'm sooooo excited about it! Yes, it's funny how we limit ourselves when we meet people in person. I was at my Halloween party and noticed there were certain people I excitedly rushed over to, assuming they were somehow similar to me because maybe they dressed Wiccan or they were laughing and smiling, but there were some folks I barely got to speak to because I assumed I knew just what they were like, i.e. slick, salesman like, full of themselves. I finally managed to talk to one of them when I got some time and realized he was actually a very deep-thinking, highly educated, open-minded person with a great sense of humor. In the blog world, you often don't even know who you're talking to--they might even use a photo of themselves, but once they start writing...it's magic. I feel like we've been friends forever and yet we've never met face-to-face. That's the power of written word! Have a super T-giving, my friend!
